Patricia Cucci, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Eye & Cataract Surgeon at Bloomfield Eye Associates in Bloomfield. Dr. Cucci received her medical degree from Rutgers-NJMS where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and completed residency in ophthalmology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Cucci sees patients in need of routine annual eye exams for eyeglasses & contact lenses as well as care for complex medical, laser and surgical eye problems. She provides eye exams for cataracts, as well as eye exams for retinal disease, such as floaters, retina tears and detachment, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration (AMD), diagnosis and laser treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Cucci has special interest in laser cataract surgery and vision correction after cataract surgery with advanced lens implants including toric lens implants to correct astigmatism and multifocal cataract lens implants to help patients reduce their dependence on eyeglasses, reading glasses and bifocals.

Dr. Cucci is a Diplomate of and certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Medical Association (AMA) and the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Cucci is an active fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and enjoys volunteer work at her sons’ sports and musical events as well as photography, cooking and travel.
